I would guess its daisychained through the displayport. I dont remember exactly how many but its usually 3 or 4 i think, making an hdmi a 4th. Cards with as many ports on them dont tend to let all ports get used at once, unless otherwise stated.

Honestly, getting a 4060 is worth the little extra money it will cost. newer technology, only one 8 pin connector usually required (not the fireball 12+4 garbage).
