Best Budget Card w/o upgrading PSU

I always recommend this card to anyone building their first ever office pc budget build. It might be a little steep on the price tag compared to some of the cards you can find used but it’s so worth it. First, the power supply issue. This card runs directly off the PCIe card slot. This means that you do not need a 6 or 8 pin power supply plug to power it. You just plug it into your board slot and you’re off. Second, it’s only a 75 watt card. This means the stock 200 watt power supply in your Dell, HP, Lenovo etc. mid tower or mini tower pc is more than enough power to run this card. Third, the lenght. It’s a pretty short card so it will fit into virtually any mt form factor or bigger case. Fourth, DLSS 3 capability. This card can do DLSS 3 upscaling for more demanding titles so it can give you that performance boost you need to get a buttery smooth 60 fps gaming experience. This is a great little card for e-sports titles like Fornite, Valorent, Marvel Rivals etc. It can also do a lot of modern titles at 1080p on around medium settings with DLSS upscaling enabled. Overall, highly recommended card for a budget office pc build.

Great performance good bang for your buck gpu low power draw easy to overclock what you would expect from Msi very aes thickly pleasing card has held up well for about a year of use had one fan start making noise only had to clean it once noise went away. I do own a German shepherd and bitcoin mine / game heavily so I am used to dust build up and know how to maintain cards temps are good it’s a great gpu but there’s better for a little more money if you are concerned about power draw it only uses on board mobo power so it’s very low under 100w my software estimated 69w power draw

Fantastic gpu. I paired this with the 5600x cpu and I’ve had essentially no issues. I can run most games 1080p60 on ultra. Best bang for the buck.

Great graphics card, in my opinion way better than its AMD counterpart. Well worth the $200 as well. Games like Valorant, Fortnite, Overwatch 2 and Phasmophobia run flawlessly on high graphics!

People tend to hate the 3050, ever more the 6 gb version, but when you actually use it, it's actually really good its can raytrace extremely well, it has the performance for a mid tier 20 series card, dispite not having external power, just make to have a good cpu, I'd recommend 400w - 600w PSU to go with it, or maybe put it in an dell optiplex for a cheap PC that can play most AAA games.

Threw it in a optiplex and it’s great for what it is, typically held back by the older i7 cpu. The gpu is able to deliver great 1080 graphics and fit around 200 fps on Fortnite or more with a better cpu. Seige was spiking in the 500 fps range, it did very well with the more gpu demanding vs cpu demanding, games. There is better gpu out there but for the price and only needing 16 pin, this is likely the best gpu you can find. Perfect for budget builds but getting a gpu that will last and withstand all future upgrades.
