“Why does the green light on power supply stay lit even when unplugged?”

• This is the case for a lot of power supplies. There is still residual electricity (albeit a small amount) that circulates in the power supply for a little time after it is unplugged. It will eventually run completely out of power and turn off the green light. It shouldn't take more than a minute or two.

• Unplug the cable that connects to the power supply and goes into the wall and three light will go off.
