Although I didn’t pay for assembly and installation, I believe that adding the propane tank would fall under the category of ‘Installation.’ If you have the tank ready when they arrive, I don’t see why they wouldn’t hook it up for you. That being said, adding the tank is the easiest part of the assembly and installation and you’ll need to replace it when it gets empty anyway so even if they don’t do it for you that shouldn’t be a dealbreaker.
