It has an auto dimmer when your lights are off it turns nearly all the way off. You can also set it to stay at a certain brightness or use ambient mode (auto dimmer) see pics. I have found the auto dimmer to be great.

Yes you can adjust the light level. Not to much light at night.

It has a auto dimmer on it. I have mine by my bed and it doesn’t keep me up at all. I can see the time if I look at it. But it is lighter then a alarm clock.
