“Why is this product called a "hub" when it serves no actual hub functionality?”

• I can access my other google devices through it such as my google nest doorbell and my google thermostat, so maybe that is why. Other than that, I can connect my phone to it and display things through bluetooth.

• How is it not a hub (the effective center of an activity, region, or network)? I can watch YouTube TV, YouTube, listen to YouTube music, see my Google camera feeds, talk on the phone with my Fi phone service, call everyone to dinner via other Google speakers throughout the house. It is literally the hub of Google activity.
