The one limitation that this would have compared to a Facebook Portal would be that it does not have a camera, so you can talk to others, and you can see them, but they cannot see you. The next level up- the Google Hub Max- it would have a camera.

It can't, as there isn't a camera on this model. You can make voice calls with it, though. If you want video calls, the Nest Hub Max is the way to go. It has a larger screen, louder speakers, and a camera to allow video calling.
