Nest Wifi is a router that broadcasts Wi-Fi to any Wi-Fi capable device. It replaces your traditional router and is compatible with most Internet Service Providers. Nest Wifi Router connects directly to your modem using an Ethernet cable to set it up and get an internet connection. Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The system does not replace the modem. It functions as a router and extender plus an interactive system. It sufficiently extended the WiFi throughout my whole house (just over 2,000 sq ft) and a good way in the yard. I recommend the system.
