Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Nest Wifi router can help extend your Wi-Fi network coverage with a faster processor and the 4x4 radio that can support up to 2,200 sq.ft. You can't use your current router to create a Wi-Fi mesh with Nest Wifi router. We recommend setting up Nest Wifi router as your primary router directly wired to your modem's WAN port. You can then use another Nest Wifi router or point to place upstairs to cover that area. If you still want to use your current router, you can add it to the mesh system as a switch to utilize the Ethernet ports. You can find more info on how to create a Wi-Fi system with Nest Wifi router/points: https://support.google.com/googlenest/answer/7215624
