Yes, you can do it. On the back of the point, there is a button with the symbol of a microphone. You just have to move it aside and voila, it doesn't listen to you anymore.

Unfortunately no. The only way to play music is asking Google to play something like Spotify.

Yes, you can turn off the microphone on the mesh point. You can play the music using the Google Home app. But there is no way to control the music without the voice commands.
