I've been using it heavily 5-8 locks per day for the last couple months. Battery life will depend on batteries purchased. I've been using regular alkaline but lithium AA's would last even longer

Our lock gets heavy use. (Aging mother is living with us. We need the autolock feature because she frequently forgets to lock the door when leaving.) The deadbolt goes through more than a dozen lock/unlock sequences per day. The first 2 sets of batteries only lasted a month each. That can get very expensive.

So, even though the manual says not to, we are using rechargables. We got good quality, high-capacity rechargables. Two sets, so there is always a fresh set ready to go when the low-battery warning is triggered.

Not very long in my case. Got locked out 7 times due to battery dying.
