• Yep, that’s exactly what this is for. I have a single cat5 ran to family room, this splits it to my sound bar, Apple TV, smart tv, And dish network.

• I believe you must run cable from your modem to this switch. This device only switches the internet signal to other devices(think share) and is not a modem.

• Connect your ethernet to switch box then connect your ps4 to swicth box . I have my ethernet cable (cat5) from my router to swtich box downstairs. Then connected computer and ps4 to switch box. Works Great
