• Yes, this is more than capable of getting the full speed, but make sure its your laptop that's causing the slowing, not your ISP (which is more typical).

• Yes it will work with 2.4ghz bands with a boost upwards to limits of 600mbps and 5ghz up to1600 mbps.. very compatible with single bans device will choose the most suitable bands needed
