“I have a desktop and I also have Wifi in my home. The modem is not close to my desktop. Will this device work for my Dell OptiPlex 7010 desktop to work remotely from home”

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes amazing range super fast speeds aswell upwards 600mbps on 2.4ghz and upwards 1600mbps on 5ghz.. was the best thing I could have done.. I also removed my extenders do to them not being able to keep up with the adapter, but in fact was bottle necking the performance.. I game, surf the web and work from home all while not having to shut down any other programs.. will purchase the next model up for my office just because this one is so great. It’s slightly more powerful

You should really be using a wired connection if doing "work" things from home to the office, it's more secure. The device comes with a small 18" cord you can use to place the receiver in a better position somewhere on your desktop or desk for better signal strength.
