that's exactly what i ran in to in my building. it works great. but you have to reprogram tvs if you've set them to the router and program them to the extender which is closer to them.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Our house is only 30-40 years old, but the bottom floor used to be an underground house so the ceiling is concrete and steel beams. Our router is upstairs in the new addition and the reception downstairs was not that good for things like streaming video. We have AT&T too and it works fine upstairs. I put this NetGeat in the living room downstairs by the TV (after setting it up in the room with the router), and now we have strong wifi throughout the house and in the yard. Works great! BestBuy has a great return policy, and that is one reason I decided to give it a try. I hope it works for you! :)
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I am using it with the AT&T router. Works fine
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I got mine for the same reason. Use line of site to place the extender. Play with placement tell you find the best location.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I would recommend moving the router and see if that helps. I understand that the cable from your modem to the router may be very short, it still allows some movement to test. If the modem/router is a combined unit then move that around to try for better coverage. The Netgear AC750 is a good unit to help extend the range of your router.
