Setup your printer to your router. When you are on the other side of the house, the extender will make sure your print request gets to the printer.

Your extender is part of the network so even if you give it a different name than the name of your primary WLAN, you should be able to reach your printer. It is based on the actual local network itself and not the name of the SSID.
