I live in a 3 story house that is over 6,100 square feet. My router is in the basement. I moved my notebook into a room on the 3rd floor. This room is as far from the router as you can get. I was unable to use wifi from the new location. Even my smartphone did not receive wifi. I installed this extender and I am receiving a very strong signal.
