It would give you wifi signal, however, each one has a different wifi name. You would have to reload wifi in each area. It's better than nothing I think.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, I successfully configured two NetGear extenders in series, an AC750 at the midpoint to extend the signal from my wireless router to mid-house and then added an AC1200 on the far side of the house; the AC750 connects wirelessly to the router itself and the AC1200 connects wirelessly to the AC750 in daisy-chain fashion. Worked like a charm and I did not see see any significant loss in bandwidth through the two chained extenders; if it was there it was imperceptible. It is critical to place the units for best signal strength, but the built in Genie software's signal strength meter on the status screen makes the process straightforward and helps you make data-based decisions on where to best place the units. It is logical to presume two AC750s should provide the same result if you do not need the 5 wired Ethernet ports in the AC1200, but I did not test that configuration. FYI I also chose the AC1200 for the far side of the house as it has higher-gain antennas and offers higher output power than the AC750, but it is more expensive. Good luck!

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes I have three linking and stretching between two offices
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes I bought two one for the main floor and one for the second floor. I have great signal on all floors now.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, this is the same reason I purchased one. Set it up and locate near the edge of your current router's coverage. You will notice marked improvement in areas previously out-of-range. Well worth it.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It should work fine. I used mine through a few walls in a building and the signal was boosted!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes I have 2 in my house right now
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.yes that would work. The booster just boosts and repeats the signal it sees. There is no difference between the original access point and an extender as far as the wifi signal being extended.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I've daisychained boosters in houses as large as 12,000 square feet and at the end of the chain there is a bit of a slowdown but with a fast connection into your house you should be fine.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. One alone should work
