How good is this for streaming movies? null

Not very good. It will take a long time and run slow.

My daughter stays on Netflix and has had no problems since installing.

Streaming works fine on my TV which is about 35 feet from the router and about 17feet from the extender (which is in the middle)

It works fine to boost the Wifi signal for streaming channels on a secondary TV.

Yes, assuming that you can stream movies via your primary wifi connection. Just make sure that you place this extender not too far from your router but far enough to get the signal in the place where you need it for your streaming.
