I don't see why not. If you are far away from your router & your internet is spotty or drops this will help. Plug it into a wall middle of home/room. It is an extender does not replace your wifi provider, you still need internet service.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. My house has broadband 5g internet that enters from one end. The house also has thick plaster walls which are known for blocking wireless signals. The extender connects to the internet modem provide by the company and boost the signal into other rooms. It will not boost to different levels, you will need more than one extender to reach those spaces which forms almost a relay type system. My kitchen, den, and patio are on the opposite end of the house and the signal is weak in those rooms so I plan to add at least 2 more extenders, one at the kitchen and another for the downstairs bedroom suite. If your trying to get a stronger wireless signal from the provider into the house, this is not for that purpose. Its only to boost signals inside a 2500-3000sq foot house/building. You will need something similar to what RV owners use which is an external antenna with booster to pull the wireless signal from the tower into the house. These small units are only to boost internally.
