• Mine is warm. I don't like the sound of "very hot". I'd keep an eye on that.

• I don't think that's normal. I've had mine plugged in since November and I just checked and it's not hot at all.

• Yes the unit does run hot. I have read this in other reviews. My I would saw runs warm.
