My house is 2200 SQR FT and the total property is 8200 SQR FT. The router is about 200FT away from the range extender inside the house on one end and the range extender is on the opposite side. There are several walls separating the router from the extender. By using this product I now have full internet access in and around my house with no problem.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.mine is working to the back of my property, in my garage, its on the back porch about 30-40 ft from the router, I live in a 40's era home of heart pine wood, with real plaster walls that are up to 5 1/2 inch thick....my lap top is another 80 feet from the extender and I have a good signal
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have a 3250 SqFt home and this device does very good. I have it installed on the first floor with my primary router on the second floor of the home. You really cant answer the question of what is the range because the range of the signal will be affected by many different things, for instance other wireless devices in the area, the structure of the dwelling, i.e. concrete, wood framing and drywall, how many walls wind up between the device and the client trying to connect to it and the likes. I will tell you the 2.4Ghz band generally speaking has a better range than the 5 Ghz band, however the 5 Ghz band is less susceptible to interference from other signals and offers a higher bandwidth possibility, better for streaming files like video files. If you get one and are not happy with the range, I would try move it around to different locations first before returning it.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. All I can say is I live in a three story townhome and this extender sits on the first floor. I get a strong signal on the third floor in my walk in closet (couple doors behind my master bedroom). So I can say signal is very strong.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Our router is upstairs and the extender is plugged into a socket in our bedroom. The linear distance is about 45-50 feet but the signal doesn't follow a linear path. I am guessing it is probably about 30 feet if you measured diagonally from the router to the extender. The signal is very strong in our bedroom so I think it would extender the signal even further.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I don't have exact measurements but my extender is about 20' from my router and it extends a strong signal about another 20 to 25'. Again, these are my estimates.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.working very well throughout a 4,200sq. ft. home.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have a shop 60' behind my house. I have all bars showing on 2g and 5g. Works great1
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I'm not sure of the maximum range but mine is 75-80' from my ATT U-Verse wireless router and it picks up the signal fine and of course broadcasts out from there. Another 50' away from the Netgear extender (and around walls) I still get full download speeds. Works great in my opinion.
