Do you have to use their cloud or can you use your own? I have a large NAS I wouldlike to use to store video instead of their service.

It's proprietary, all your videos are saved to their cloud, and then you have to import them from there.

I am not aware of any way you could do this besides writing a script to download the video from their "cloud" to your NAS. The base station itself does not store the video, it just communicates with the server where they store it via your wired ethernet connection.

To the best of my knowledge the services are 100% cloud based.. For $99. a year the service that allows 10 cameras is a good deal.
