The base station is the wifi receiver for the cameras, cameras would need to be within 300ft of the base station. If the second site is more than 300ft away, a second base station will be required.

No. All the cameras have to be in range of the base station.

Yes. I have them all over my house. But I don't see why they can't be in separate locations.

If those cameras aren't to far from the base you can. If they are at completely different locations they will not work. Must be within 100 feet of the base.

Not unless you have two base units. Each camera must "talk" to the base unit for set up and to transmit video. The camera cant work completely by themselves.
