• the motion detection videos are saved on the netgear arlo cloud servers and you can download the video to a local drive. if you're on the basic plan, you have 7days to get your video from the cloud before you loose them. other paid plans offer a bit more freedom

• Yes they are stored on the cloud and on email. Perfect for prosecution I would think. Good resolution too

• The motion events can be recorded up to 120 seconds; however, I am not sure you can use it as evidence.
