You can specify a zone you want to monitor. You can move the motion detection area above ground level where your pet may run around. You can also lower the sensitivity of the motion detection to lessen any false-positives.

When the cameras and base station are armed and notifications are turned on - you can get notifications via email or to your phone. And they're super annoying. I don't believe there is a "pet" setting. But if you know there will be something or someone in your home while the cameras are armed - turn off notifications - whats the point you know people/pets wont be sitting still until you come home

No. My dog sets it off all the time; however, you can change the sensitivity of it.
