You can specify a zone you want to monitor. You can move the motion detection area above ground level where your pet may run around. You can also lower the sensitivity of the motion detection to lessen any false-positives.

And they're super annoying. I don't believe there is a "pet" setting. But if you know there will be something or someone in your home while the cameras are armed - turn off notifications - whats the point you know people/pets wont be sitting still until you come home
