Batteries are cr123. They are expensive at $9 for 2. I have seen better prices for multi packs and may gonthis route or rechargeable.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Each camera requires 4 batteries. They are CR123 batteries and they're very expensive at $1.50 - $2.50 each. NetGear claims batteries last 4-6 months but this is not true. Expect less than 2 months on the battery life.

Please try again later.batteries are lithium, and last 6 mos. they are easy to replace, but you have to readjust the cameras afterwords. the recording on these are sporadic at best. They did not work for me when I was robbed for 10k of product. this was why I bought this thing. then when we went on vacation, the thing wouldn't record at all on one camera. It sent the signal to camera A to record on camera B, even tho the motion was in camera A. they whole thing is micky mouse, a waste of money

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.They are lithium batteries, pretty expensive I think an 8 pack is 30 dollars. Batteries will last one month or thereabouts based upon the way you set your system up. Very easy to replace.
