that all depends on your wifi system as to how far it will reach. the average max is 20 ft. (not allot) and they are garbage, do NOT get this system

It depends upon your wireless modem/WiFi signal and the obstructions and type of construction between the WiFi modem and the camera. I've installed a few WiFi repeaters to increase the range. You should have no problem in the "average" 2000 Sq Ft home, depending upon c construction, upstairs v downstairs etc. These issues are easily resolved with the WiFi repeaters.

As to CONCRETE, depends on how thick etc. BestBuy and Amazon have a no questions asked return policy so you can't go wrong.
