All you need is a smart phone or a tablet. Works great even a mile away!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The range is going to vary depending on the layout of your house. A more open layout, you will get more range. Lots of walls inbetween the base and the wireless Cameras, less range. This is for range of how far the wireless cameras can be from the base. At best, you are looking at the footprint of a normal sized house. The notifications though, they go through Text or Email and would be typically seen on your smart phone. That is covered by your Cell coverage, not the base specifically. The base is hard wired into your home Internet.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The base distance only is related to camera placement. You will need to look at the specs for that. When a camera detects motion it will notify you by email and/or a push notification on your smart phone. So it won't matter where you are as long as you have wifi. I don't think that a camera could be 2 blocks away from the base....maybe 25 feet?
