I bought mine for vyve internet and my cell phone coverage. (I’ve piggy backed a mobile cell booster onto this modem. My cell service at my home has never been better) I checked all the specs for this and another model, I prefer internet speed performance versus how many devices I can connect and decided this model. Yes this one should work with both cox & DTV with no problem. I currently keep 5 of my devices connected through WiFi with no issues. I’ve used it with a cat-7 with great results also. If you think you might need more USB port just connect USB Hub, they work great. I Hope this helps.
