• Yes it does after I wrote this question I bought it the same day I found the Mac filter and it works great. Also able to turn on guest wifi easy for when people want to use my wifi without having them access to my network. Saves me $10+ a month from Time Warner cable.

• I don't think so but that type of security opens up a major hole in your network. MAC addresses are broadcast publicly. It's not difficult for someone with a little technical knowledge to pull up nearby MAC addresses and then spoof an address, which would give them entry into your network without needing a password.
