What is the wifi range? How does the wifi range compare to other Comcast-compatible modems w integrated wifi?

Pertaining to the wifi range, I would only recommend this router for apts.

I'll put it this way: my modem is on the SW corner of my apt and I got full great signal from my bathroom on the opposite corner roughly 50' away and 3 drywall walls across. Phone, tablet or laptop, everybody have full signal even when there are ~10 devices connected and using the internet. The N300 on the other hand seems to degrade signal and routing after ~6 devices connected. So $30 more makes a huge difference.

It is much better then the Aries, it covers the whole house at a good speed.

The comcast router i barely got a signal outside and with this i have a powerful signal outside as well as inside the house

I find that the product does not connect very well. I had separate components before getting this one. I recommend staying with separate components. They seem to work better.

From my experience, the range is a little better, but not much.
I would say in my case, it probably extended the range an extra 15ft.
