The 600 will cover a broader distance for coverage throughout a house. The 600 was equivalent to the modem that Comcast/Xfinity had provided.

Please try again later.The difference is the strength of bandwidth it can hold, 300 vs 600... plus if I'm not mistaken, one has wifi built in and the other is straight modem and a router will be needed for wifi access.
