• The 600 will cover a broader distance for coverage throughout a house. The 600 was equivalent to the modem that Comcast/Xfinity had provided.

• The difference is the strength of bandwidth it can hold, 300 vs 600... plus if I'm not mistaken, one has wifi built in and the other is straight modem and a router will be needed for wifi access.
