Will this be compatible with a Verizon modem? null

This is a combination router/modem that plugs directly into a coaxial cable (like what plugs into your TV tuner) provided by your internet service provider. This does not have to be attached to an additional router or modem. So long as Verizon (or Fios) supports it, or DOCSIS 3.0, you will be fine.
