“Do I have to have a CD drive to configure this product? I have a Dell 5070 that does not come with wireless. The mircro does not have a CD drive either. Wondering if I can just plug in the dongle and pick up my wireless signal to sign in.”

You should NOT need a CD drive. Windows 10 and 11 will be able to acknowledge the USB WiFi adapter on its own. If you want to access the full features of the WiFi adapter you can download software from Netgear. Otherwise you should be good to go.
