Lets start by saying it all depends. First your ISP internet speed (if you are paying for 100Mbps that is all you will get max) Then there is the computer network card. If it is a 10/100 and lets say you have a 200 Mbps internet plan then the network card will limit your speed to 100 Mbps. Now a wireless connection is usually slower than a wired connection, however if you have a modem or wireless router that is 10/100/1000 and the wireless adapter is also 10/100/1000 then you will get higher speeds than your internal wired 10/100 network card. Of course this again depends on the ISP internet plan speed. So as I said at the beginning it all depends.
