• Yes, there shouldn't be a problem using this adapter with this and most any other wireless-G broadband adapter.

• Yes, this device is backwards compatible and works with wireless-G. I have a LinkSys Wireless G router that I use with this device.

• Absolutely. It supports all wireless formats b/g/n so you should have no problems at all using this with your existing setup. The support for the N standard with higher speeds will only be useable if your router supports N as well however.

• This USB is wireless G compatible but I have experienced issues with my N300 all the time so I cannot advise if there is a noticeable difference in performance, other than speed. Most, if not all, wireless N products are backwards compatible with G and B. I am not aware of any wireless N products that are not backwards but just because I have not seen it, does not mean it does not exist.
