• There are are 2 people working from home plus a college student. So far we haven't had any issues with the WIFI since we bought this.

• I use my Extender to extend wifi from my home into my barn. Wifi becomes available from a greater distance. It sounds like you may need greater strength not distance. I suggest talking to your wifi provider before buying or a Best Buy technician.
