“I do not have Netgear internet. I have Fios. My router is downstairs and my gaming PC and playstation is upstairs. I'm hoping to use this to extend my Wifi and plug my systems in via ethernet to boost the signal. Will this work for that?”

This is a wifi booster/extender as long as you are able to transmit wifi from your modem, this device will be able to push the signal out a little further.
