I personally would give some prayful consideration to mesh network system. Straight line of sight, block or brick walls, lots of variables as to whether or not the Nighthawk will perform up to your expectations. I am not an expert by any means, but I do try to get the most bang for my bucks. For a few dollars more , I Went with the Google mesh system which easily reach where I needed it with no problems. The Nighthawk worked well inside my house ( 1300 sq ft) brick, but did not have enough range to get to & through our frame garage to serve Blink cameras @ Koi ponds. We have ATT Gig power on fiber line for internet & wifi. Nighthawk only pushed 1 bar on signal strength, mesh system pushed all the bars. Good Luck, I hope this helps. Set up is really easy.
