The best I can recommend without knowing your operating system and version is to go online and look at the netgear website for this device and look for an OS compatibility list. If you are unable to find that, download and install the drivers...if the OS is not supported, the driver installation will fail with a message. That will save you buying , finding out the drivers software will not work for your computer and having to pack it all up and taking back to store.
