Depending on what material your house is made out of, and the placement of your router it may cover it. If the router is perfectly placed on that middle level floor with limited interference then you will be fine, but If right off the bat the signal needs to pass through several walls and even a load bearing wall i would either upgrade to the next level router or consider a mesh system of routers.
