“Does setup *require* a smartphone app? What if I don't have a smartphone? I would just like to set it up through my laptop.”

• Netgear tech support personnel assisted in setup - first tech had us use pc to setup, then back to ISP for some tweaking, second Netgear tech person, had us use smart phone (very tedious on smart phone). The installation took over 4 hours combined!!!! Instructions in package were of no help. The online user manual is 150+ pages in length!
