• You could disable "Enable One WiFi Name" option in the setting and set separate SSID to anything you want, but why would you do that? Same SSID as the main router makes connection much easier.

• Yes you can. You have the choice of setting a unique SSID for the extender, or enabling the mesh functionality and having it blend seamlessly using the same SSID as the router.

• During setup you have the option to use the same SSID as your Router uses for 2.4 and 5.0 ghz networks or you can use a different SSID for the "extended" networks.

• Yes, you can either let it 'clone' or use the same name as your existing SSID or you can use the web interface and change just about anything at all on it, including giving it a completely different SSID.
