Yes, you have the option of running the Orbi router system alongside your existing router in Access Point mode. Instructions for setting up the Orbi in AP mode are located beginning on page 76 of the User Manual: https://www.netgear.com/support/product/rbk50.aspx?cid=wmt_netgear_organic#docs
