“I have 5600 sq ft home, with Suddenlink and numerous wifi extenders throughout the house, will this eliminate the extenders or just add these to the network. thanks KC”

The Orbi routers will replace the extenders. And being a mesh system, there will only be one wifi connection name, not multiple (2g, 5g, etc), and you devices will seemlessly transition between the routers depending on which is closest/strongest. And you can always add additional router points depending on signal strength throughout the house.
