Hi, dmatt99: The RBS50 is an Orbi satellite and requires an Orbi router to connect to the Internet. Instructions for monitoring Internet usage begin on page 109 of the User Manual: https://www.netgear.com/support/product/rbk50.aspx?cid=wmt_netgear_organic#docs
