Yes. Ethernet cable from router to first adaptor. Plug first adaptor into an electrical outlet. Plug second adaptor into an electrical outlet near your computer. Ethernet cable from second adaptor into the computer. This eliminates the need to pick up your wifi signal.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. If you want to have a wireless connection, you will have to have some kind of wifi adapter in your PC. Otherwise, you connect one unit to your router with a cable, and then a cable from the other unit to your PC. The guy at BB told me that the units needed to be on the same circuit to work. My house is wired in a weird way, so I don't know how true that is. I have had no problems.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.yes, but you wil need two fo them, ( come with box ) and plug one in near your router and then add one next to your computer, works very well. Add as many as you like as your entire powerline becomes an ethernet network.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The set is sold in pairs. It will work without a wi-fi adapter. Near your current router plug into an electrical socket and that adapter to an ethernet port on your router. At the other end by your PC plugin the other adapter into an electrical outlet and then the ethernet to the PC. Boom! instant wired connection. There is limited set up but it is pretty simple solution for homes with wi-fi coverage issues.
