• It does make noise because it’s basically a blow dryer but it’s not as loud as a blow dryer on high. I have to say I love it and it does an amazing job.

• In my opinion, a regular blow dryer can be louder. The sound seems softer than a blow dryer even when used close to your ears. Sound is similar to Dyson vacuum sound.
