• Hello Yanis, this is Kelly with Dyson. When put on the dock, or left unattended/unused for 5 minutes, your Dyson Corrale straightener will go in to sleep mode, where the plates will start to cool. Pressing any button on the machine at this point will take the machine out of sleep mode and return the plates to your chosen temperature setting. Best wishes, Kelly Dyson Customer Support
